The gig

Our Community Marketing team is the heartbeat of LSKD - building genuine connections, elevating local fitness communities, and inspiring people to be 1% better every day. As our Community Marketing Manager based in Perth, you'll bring this mission to life across WA. Reporting to the Head of Community Marketing, you'll partner closely with our Head Coaches (Store Managers) to strengthen team culture, lead community activations, and turn stores into true community hubs. You'll craft and execute regional strategies, support Street Teams in hitting the ground running, and build relationships that make every interaction meaningful.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Create a Community:

* Build annual and quarterly community plans aligned to the Merchandise and Marketing calendar.
* Activate the community in person - events, gyms, run clubs, and local initiatives.
* Represent the brand and champion our 1% Better mission in-store and in-region.
* Monitor and engage across social channels and forums.
* Capture and share weekly content from stores and regional events.
* Spend 4–5 days per week connecting with athletes, gyms, and store teams.

Develop a Team of Leaders:

* Support retail teams in building world-class Street Teams that live our values.
* Celebrate growth and recognise wins.
* Support in-market recruitment and contribute to talent pipelines.
* Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
* Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and fair development opportunities.
* Reinforce career and personal growth pathways, helping set goals.

Key Events & Moments:

* Plan and execute Street, Brand, and Charity events aligned to annual brand campaigns.
* Partner with the wider CMM team for seamless delivery.
* Build relationships with partners, organisers, athletes, and influencers.
* Develop monthly themed events and compelling brand activations.
* Lead the regional road program and mobilise Street Teams for execution.

New Store Community Building:

* Lead community strategy for new store openings.
* Pre-seed and warm the community, building hype and strong launch plans.
* Run local activations, events, and athlete engagement.
* Identify talent for Team LSKD and support in-market recruitment.

Leading Store Community Programs:

* Lead regional community strategies and track key success metrics.
* Support Head Coaches to create and execute strong in-store community programs.
* Coach and hold Head Coaches accountable to their community impact.
* Build and manage relationships with Team LSKD, influencers, and community athletes.
* Run the Team LSKD onboarding program.

Collaboration & Teamwork

* Serve as the frontline connection between LSKD and the AU/NZ community.
* Act as the bridge between Community Marketing, Partnerships and other HQ teams.
* Foster a united, collaborative culture within the team.
* Work closely with fellow CMMs for alignment and best-practice sharing.

Reporting & Analytics:

* Track and evaluate the performance of events, campaigns, and community initiatives.
* Deliver regular reports and insights to refine and optimise future strategies.

New Territory (Specific):

* Build relationships with athletes, communities, and local businesses.
* Run regional athletic and brand events.
* Lead van pop-up programming.
* Support fitness partnerships and onboarding.
* Scout new store/showroom opportunities.
* Build and maintain a warm pipeline of potential retail talent.

* 3–5 years leading community, partnership or project-based teams with proven results.
* Someone who can see the big picture, build the strategy, and rally the team to execute.
* Comfortable operating in an omnichannel world and connecting the dots across the business.
