General Practitioner / Medical Officer
Location: Alice Springs, NT (Joint Defence Facility Pine Gap)
Contract: 6-month salaried role (extensions possible)
Salary: $400,000 p.a. pro rata (negotiable) + accommodation, car & travel assistance
About the Role
Blackfyre Global is seeking an Australian-citizen GP/Medical Doctor for a unique and prestigious role in support of the Joint Defence Facility Pine Gap, 20 km from Alice Springs. This special project involves collaboration between the Australian Defence Force and the United States, providing high-quality healthcare exclusively to Defence personnel and their dependents.
This is a salaried position – no billing required. You will work within a supportive clinical team including nursing and allied health staff, delivering 30-minute consultations during standard hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm) at a medical centre in Alice Springs or on base if and when required..

Candidate Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration
* Australian citizenship (security requirement)
* Minimum 3+ years GP/Family Medicine experience
* Fellowship (FRACGP/FACRRM) or equivalent
* FRACGP or FACRRM Fellowship must be held at the time of application
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide comprehensive family practice care
* Understanding of the emotional and environmental stresses faced by patients in remote/Defence contexts
* Commitment to CPD and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge
* Willingness to undergo AGSVA security clearance (if required)
* Baseline security clearance is required for this position
