This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced leader or a first-time Underground Manager to step into a high-impact role and shape the future of underground mining at St Ives. What You'll Do
Reporting to the Manager: Mining, you will manage all facets of the underground material handling project.
* Safety & Statutory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Act and Regulations, maintaining statutory obligations and fostering a proactive safety culture.
* Project Management: oversee a twin decline development project and exploration programme for potential expansion into a new underground production zone.
* Budget & Forecasting: prepare mining schedules to produce accurate forecasts and budgets.
* Contractor Management: Manage Contractor performance to deliver key milestones safely to standard.
* Infrastructure: Oversee the installation and commissioning of the materials handling capital infrastructure
What You'll Bring
* Capability in project and contractor management
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mining) or equivalent
* WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency
* A growth mindset, with strong communication, responsibility, and relationship-building skills.
