Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working within a close-knit team, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Project Maintenance in BST – Opening Projects, adding change requests, updating rates, closing projects, new client setup.
* Time sheet adjustments.
* Project Employee Expense approvals.
* Review projects monthly to ensure optimal performance and timely billing.
* Management of cash receipts.
* Provide advice to Project Managers that align business direction and strategies.
* Alert and mitigate business risks to optimise performance.
* Support stakeholders with pricing and project analysis.
* Adherence to KCB finance policies and procedures; and
* Operate within and in accordance with KCB's H&S guidelines and Quality management systems. KCB promotes Zero Harm in the workplace and has a culture of safety awareness.
Attributes and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CPA/CA desirable).
* 4+ years of experience in a project accounting role and/ or a role with transferable skills.
* Previous experience in a professional services, construction, or engineering consultancy.
* Superior verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent people skills, with an ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office including Power BI.
* Exposure to and familiarity with ERP systems such as BST Enterprise.
* Highly organised and detail focused.
* An ability to adjust to priorities that continually change.
