As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties from minor repairs and renovations to general maintenance across The Star Gold Coast property.
Your expertise will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence that our guests have come to expect.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A few of your responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of tasks, including minor repairs, renovations, and general maintenance
Ensure the timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
Collaborate with the Property Operations team to identify and address maintenance needs proactively
Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed
Assist in the planning and execution of larger-scale maintenance and renovation projects
What are we looking for:
Proven experience as a handyperson, with a strong background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or general building maintenance
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:06pm
