What You'll Do
To manage sales in Brisbane, Australia.
* Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns. Manage day-to-day sales activities of Crouse-Hinds in Queensland to implement the organization's overall sales strategy in Australia.
* Assist with the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures and initiatives to improve overall performance of the region.
* Work closely with Business Managers in Mining and Industrial/Ex. to develop customer-oriented products in application and solution.
* Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
* Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, and distribution strategies for the area of responsibility.
* Coach customers' sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization's products and services.
Qualifications
* Diploma of Illumination and Lighting design or equivalent Electrical Trade Certification preferred.
* Previous sales experience would be favourable.
* Knowledge of industrial electrical applications, hazardous experience preferred; proven sales, marketing, and customer relations experience.
Skills
* Must have exemplary customer service skills.
* Lighting design experience preferred.
* Prior budget and experience.
* Fluent communication in English.
* Strong problem‐solving and decision‐making skills.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Able to work autonomously as well as a strong team member, able to display organizational planning skills and strong time‐management skills.
