Surveyor Technician Role Overview
This role presents a unique opportunity to develop and apply surveying skills in a dynamic open-cut mining environment.
* Pursuing a degree in Surveying or Spatial Science is highly valued, as is progressing toward completion of this qualification.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with experienced operational teams and applying contemporary surveying technologies and methodologies.
2. Ensuring adherence to safe working practices and knowledge of statutory requirements.
3. Setting out dig limits and participating in periodic water level measurements.
4. Contributing to weekly acquisition of as-built survey data using an RTK drone.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Production team, while gaining exposure to leading-edge surveying equipment and technologies.
