The role
As our Installation Manager, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds:
50% on the tools, supporting complex installations, training staff, and ensuring safety and quality.
50% office‑based, coordinating teams, managing schedules, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance.
This role is perfect for an SAA Accredited Electrician who wants to step into management without giving up the satisfaction of hands‑on work .
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and support installation teams
* Oversee project scheduling, job allocation, and resource planning
* Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and technical troubleshooting
* Maintain compliance with electrical, solar and battery standards
* Work with the operations team for scheduling
* Provide exceptional customer service and technical guidance
* Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives
Skills and experience
* Experience installing solar and batteries
* Focus on quality
* Effective communication with managers, office staff and colleagues
* Effective team leader
* Reliability
The successful candidate will require the following licences:
* SAA Accreditation
* NSW Electrical license
* NSW Safety white card
* Working at heights (desired)
* EWP yellow card (desired)
