Freight Transportation Specialist
We are seeking a dependable and efficient freight transportation specialist to join our team. As a casual employee, you will be responsible for transporting premium Italian food products to customers throughout the local area.
Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently transport refrigerated Italian food products to customers in the Sunshine Coast area
* Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner and in accordance with customer requirements
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
* Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers as needed
* Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries, and picking of orders
* Comply with all relevant health, safety, and transport regulations
Requirements:
* A valid driver's license and experience in a similar delivery role, preferably with refrigerated vehicles
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient deliveries
* Commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail
* Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including Saturday mornings as required
