The Business We're proud to be partnering with a well regarded, Australian-owned logistics services business that has built a strong market position on the back of technology, good people, and a real commitment to their customers. They operate across Australia and New Zealand, have a loyal and growing client base, and are well ahead of most of their competitors when it comes to how they use technology to run and differentiate their business. The business is profitable, well established, and has a clear plan for where it is going. The CEO is focused on growth and the future and needs a trusted operational leader alongside them to make it happen.
Role
* Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a genuine number two position with full P&L and operational accountability across Sales, Operations, Customer Success, and Implementation.
* You will set the operating rhythm of the business, develop and hold the leadership team accountable, manage key client relationships, and make sure the business performs. When things need sorting, you sort them. The CEO will trust you to do that without needing to be across everything themselves.
* The role is designed to grow with the business. The expectation over time is that you become the CEO's primary commercial and operational counterpart as the business scales.
Who We're Looking For
* We're looking to speak with current GM's, COO's, and National Operations Managers who are ready for a broader remit and a bigger challenge. I'd also love to hear from high calibre State Managers who are ready to take the next step and run an entire business rather than a part of one.
* You don't need to have held a GM title to be considered. You do need strong commercial acumen, solid operational discipline, and a genuine desire to own the outcomes. A background in logistics, freight, or technology driven service businesses will be well regarded.
