Northeast Auto Group is looking for a motivated and reliable Roofer Plumber to join our team in Burton, SA. This hands‐on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high‐quality roofing work, maintaining safe work practices, and contributing to a team‐focused environment.
About the role
Part of Northeast Auto Group, our Burton site services a variety of clients across construction and maintenance projects. You'll be part of a skilled team delivering top‐quality roofing solutions, using the right tools and techniques to ensure safe, reliable, and long‐lasting results. We have a permanent, full‐time opportunity available for a Roofer to join our team. Reporting to the Construction Operations Manager, you will be responsible for completing roofing tasks on‐site, maintaining equipment, and supporting overall team operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Perform roofing installation, repair, and maintenance to a high standard
* Work safely at heights, adhering to all WHS procedures and regulations
* Prepare material take‐offs, tools, and equipment for each job
* Inspect completed work to ensure quality and durability
* Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work site
* Support team members with on‐site tasks and general maintenance duties
* Occasionally assist with minor repairs or site preparation
About You
* Safety‐focused with the ability and desire to promote a positive safety culture
* Skilled roof plumber with experience in residential and/or commercial roofing
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‐quality workmanship
* Reliable, punctual, and self‐motivated with a hands‐on approach
* Able to work well in a team while also taking initiative
* Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
* Flexibility to work away when needed
* Obtain all relevant working with heights, High risk work license, mobile plant tickets
* Good problem‐solving methods
* Preferred Certificate in roof plumbing (CPC32620) & Certificate II in Metal Roofing & Cladding
