About the Role
Exciting opportunities are available to become an integral member of our Day of Surgery Admissions team as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse!
o Work between all areas in DOSA - Admissions, Pre-op Hold & 2nd/3rd Stage Recovery
o Preparing patients undergoing day procedures before their entry into theatre
o Discharging patients post-procedure and providing education on what to expect.
o Ensure high-quality care is delivered to our patients.
o Opportunity to upskill and gain Cannulation experience.
Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including morning, afternoon and evening shifts, is critical for this role.
About you
o Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse OREndorsed Enrolled Nurse (IV qualified)
o A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required. Recent 2 years clinical experience with current experience in Day Surgery, Surgical or Medical Wards
Candidates with cannulation experience & resent practice will be highly regarded, however this position will also provide the opportunity to upskill in this area.
Remuneration
A base hourly rate, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
$35.78 - $39.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1-gr6)
$41.89 - $54.01 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)

Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital opened on 4 November 2013, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and day services across a wide range of specialties.
Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11 bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and an 9 chair day therapy unit.
