OPERATIONS/City Rangers/City Services - Full Time/Permanent
$98,481 per annum plus superannuation
About The Role
Reporting to the Operations Coordinator/Manager, City Rangers, this leadership role is responsible for supervising, supporting and guiding City Rangers to deliver effective parking, regulatory and public domain services across the City. The role focuses on leading day‐to‐day operations, supporting staff performance and development, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedures, and providing a high level of service to the community.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience leading, coaching, mentoring and performance managing staff.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to support team culture, set clear expectations and drive performance.
* Knowledge of relevant Local Government, regulatory and Road Rules legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, the public and other stakeholders.
* Experience managing difficult situations, resolving issues and responding to public enquiries professionally.
* Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
* A proactive approach to improving systems, processes and service delivery.
* A strong focus on compliance, safety and professionalism.
* Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it.
* Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, based on operational needs.
This role has the option of working an 18‐day month. The recommended applicant must complete a pre‐employment health declaration, medical assessment and a criminal history check.
