**Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to join our team in Gympie. As a Support Worker, you will be working with elderly individuals, providing personal care assistance, domestic support, and social interaction.
**Key Responsibilities:
* Engage in conversation with elderly individuals, building relationships and trust.
* Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management.
* Assist with domestic tasks, such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
* Offer transportation and social support, facilitating access to medical appointments and community activities.
* Support clients with complex needs, including dementia and mental health.
* Monitor client progress and report on well-being.
**Requirements:
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (preferred).
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate.
* Federal Police Check, Yellow Card, and Blue Card (satisfactory).
* Australian Driver's Licence.
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance preferred).
* Smartphone with internet access.
