The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has an exciting opportunity for people looking to gain experience in an office environment and/or are seeking a career change.
The Data Sourcing Contact Centre (DSCC) supports the ABS's household and business survey programs by assisting survey participants to meet their survey obligations and crafting tailored, low-effort customer experiences.
These positions are casual ($36.69 per hour), with the opportunity to work 5 business days a week dependant on the available work. It is a requirement for all applicants to be available a minimum of 3 business days per week. Shifts are 7 hours and 25 minutes in duration Monday - Friday between 8.45am and 7:00pm during AEST and 8.45am and 8:00pm during AEDT.

About the roles
DSCC Contact Centre Officers (APS2) work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where they:
* Provide support to ABS data providers by answering inbound calls, answering general questions, providing information and assistance with data submissions
* Making outbound calls to data providers to follow-up on and obtain cooperation with outstanding data submission obligations
* Access and use multiple systems when assisting data providers on inbound or outbound calls, including updating records, escalating enquiries, granting extensions and collecting data
* Accurately recording all interactions with data providers in line with relevant policies and procedures
