At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), our strategic vision is Trusted Care. Better health for everyone. We are looking for compassionate, dedicated Assistants in Nursing - Students (AINs) to join our supportive and dynamic healthcare team.
About the Opportunity
Our AINs play a vital role in supporting our nursing staff and delivering safe, respectful, and patient-centred care every day. In the role you will:

* Provide personal care, mobility support, and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
* Support Registered Midwives, Registered & Enrolled Nurses with patient care tasks as directed.
* Assist with collecting accurate health data and clinical observations.

* Maintain clear, timely, and compliant patient documentation.

* Communicate effectively with women, patients, families, and the care team, and contribute to quality improvement activities.

About You

* Completed HLT33115 Certificate III Health Services Assistance or have completed 1 or more years Training as an Undergraduate nursing/midwifery student.

* You are a strong communicator with well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that support effective interactions in a clinical environment.

* You bring recent, relevant experience in patient care and demonstrate the ability to deliver safe, high-quality support in line with clinical standards.

* You thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and are committed to supporting your colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

* You are adaptable, eager to learn, and open to new challenges in a dynamic healthcare setting.
