Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, the Project Geologist is responsible for the following:
* Own, coordinate and execute all geology Grade Control modelling and assist with related drilling activities in a proactive, efficient and timely manner.
* Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to the Mine Geologists and Field Staff.
* Contribute to short, medium and long‐term (LOM) mine plans and schedules to ensure the development of optimised mine plans.
* Monitor face and drill sample and assay quality, follow up QAQC issues.
About the Business
Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Plutonic Gold Mine produces 85koz of gold annually. The Company also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, the Company plans to bring three new mining areas at Plutonic into production.

Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science, majoring in Geology.
* Current "C" Class manual Drivers License.
* Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry.
* Experience in an underground production role and basic resource modelling is essential.
* Computer literacy – 3D Modelling Software such as Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac and Microsoft Office, Logging software, GIS packages.
* Demonstrate ability to maintain or exceed best industry practice in all geological and environmental tasks.
Schedule and On‐site Information
Working a 8:6 roster, departing from Perth you'll fly directly to Plutonic arriving within 90 mins of departure. Once onsite you are accommodated in a well‐established camp that boasts a substantial gym, squash courts, multipurpose court, pool, modern ensuite rooms, just to list some of the facilities.
