Part-Time Electronic Systems Technician (Tax-Free Pay). 
You'll work with a team of highly trained technicians to maintain state-of-the-art electronic control systems, such as those used in the Abrams Tank and Australian Light Armoured Vehicle (ASLAV). You may also work on advanced missile systems, bio-medical equipment, remote weapon systems, electronic surveillance devices and RADAR systems, among other Army equipment. When you meet with your unit, you'll refine your technician skills, plan upcoming exercises and keep up your soldiering training. 
Responsibilities 
Maintain and troubleshoot electronic control systems across a range of Army equipment (e.g., armor, missiles, bio-medical devices, remote weapon systems, RADAR). 
Collaborate with a team to refine technician skills, plan exercises and sustain soldiering training.

Eligibility 
Be at least 17 years of age when you enter the ADF 
Have completed Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics 
Be an Australian citizen. Non-citizens may still be eligible if they meet certain criteria (see ADF Careers Eligibility Page) 
Be reasonably fit and healthy; you'll need to pass a physical fitness test before you join 
Be able to obtain a security clearance 
Have completed a Certificate III in Engineering – Electronics (or an approved apprenticeship/traineeship with electronic competencies aligned to Certificate III in Engineering – Electronics) or equivalent evidence of suitable employment in that trade
