This is a full-time, on-site role where your coordination skills will ensure the smooth flow of trucks and containers through the depot.About The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Container Gate Clerk.Some of your key responsibilities will include:Processing the arrival of containers and trucks, ensuring details are accurately recordedLiaising with truck drivers and forklift operators to manage traffic flowIdentifying and addressing discrepancies during the gate-in processEnforcing depot procedures and ensuring a safe working environmentHandling releases and acceptances via the 1-Stop systemMaintaining strong stakeholder relationships and providing excellent customer serviceResponding to customer queries via phone and email efficientlyAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience in a container park or transport operations (highly desirable)Familiarity with shipping lines, transport companies, and the 1-Stop systemStrong computer literacy and high attention to detailEffective verbal communication using two-way radiosUnderstanding of WH&S; protocols with a proactive mindsetYou will also have:Team player with a positive and friendly attitudeConfident working with truck drivers and other depot staffFlexible and able to work overtime as requiredReliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality serviceWhat\'s in it for You?
