United Drilling Services are currently seeking a proactive and site-focused HSE Field Advisor to support drilling projects across all our projects. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, reducing risk and supporting safe project delivery from start to finish.
About the role:
* This is a hands-on role requiring regular travel, including to remote and isolated areas, on a FIFO/DIDO basis as operationally required.
* Partner closely with project and site leaders to influence best practice and continuous improvement.

* Maintain a strong boots-on-the-ground presence, partnering with project management and contractors to deliver positive HSE outcomes.
* Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and audits to identify hazards, reduce risk and maintain a safe working environment.
* Complete and maintain HSE documentation, compliance records and reporting requirements in a timely manner.
* Liaise with project management teams to provide clear, practical reporting on HSE performance, risks and corrective actions.
* Support project and site leaders with the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE systems, procedures and processes.
* Ensure WHS protocols are embedded across site activities and remain compliant with current Queensland legislation.
* Provide practical, industry-informed advice on WHS objectives, initiatives and strategies to project teams.
* Carry out workshop inductions and make sure new starters are site-ready with all first-day safety and compliance requirements in place.
* Champion a positive safety culture by engaging with teams, reinforcing standards and promoting accountability at all levels.
* Take the lead with incident investigations/reporting and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Application Requirements:
* At least 2 years of HSE experience in a site-based role.
* MUST be able to travel and work rosters as required
* Commercial construction experience, with exposure to drilling, civil, mining or resource projects highly regarded.
* Strong working knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
* Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
* Well-developed communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive, practical approach with the confidence to build strong working relationships on site.
* Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical.
