Clerk Grade:3/4, base salary starting at $84,659 - $92,701 plus superannuation
Employment Type: 12-month fixed term/temporary opportunity, full-time
Office Location: Sydney - McKell building with flexible working supported
An exciting temporary opportunity has become available for an Assistant Project Support Officer at the NSW Telco Authority.This role sits within the Reporting, Tools & Insights team within the Strategy, Commercial and Risk Division.
The Reporting, Tools and Insights team is responsible for enabling reporting for our executive audience by transforming organisational data into actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and decision making. The primary purpose of the Assistant Project Support Officer role is to undertake a range of coordination, analysis and administrative activities to support the daily operations of the team.
Your day-to-day:
* Act as a first point of contact to provide advice and assistance on data, reports and solutions (previously built by the team) from a BAU perspective.
* Support the team's effort on delivering and maintaining enterprise reporting initiatives including the corporate dashboard and its supporting report suite.
* Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, providing practical solutions to everyday business problems.
* Analyse and transform business data to enable reporting outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
* Demonstrated experience working with PowerBI is essential.
* The ability to plan and prioritise administrative support activities ensuring attention to detail and management of competing deadlines essential.
* Previous experience working in a delivery environment is desirable.
* A passion on building and maintaining dashboards or reports that speaks to your audience. Cleaning, transforming and modelling tables of data across the organisation into actionableinsights for various audiences.
* As an enabler of change, you are keen to establish, build and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders through effective communication.
* An interest in the development of your fundamental skillset in reporting and delivery to support your future career progression within the organisation.
