Job Description
We are looking for a
Full Time Practice Manager
with leadership capabilities and attention to detail. You will be a steady, dependable presence who's always thinking one step ahead, a team player who is great with people and animals alike.
This is an
11-month secondment role with the possibility of extension
, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain leadership experience and make a real impact.
You will actively participate in nursing duties at times, so excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures are required. Familiarity with practice manager duties including rostering and human resources is a bonus.

Our clinic adjoins great cafés and is 15 minutes' drive to the Gold Coast beaches, and 5 minutes to Robina Town Center.
The clinic includes two spacious consult rooms, a surgical theatre, X-ray, ultrasound and separate cat and dog wards. The size of the clinic suits a first-time or experienced manager alike.
Your new role will see you
Managing day-to-day operations, including stock management, people management, rostering and maintaining client records.
Leading and developing our team to provide an excellent client experience, exceptional patient care and to build a positive team culture.
Ensuring monthly KPIs are met.
Driving our business forward through local marketing initiatives.
Performing nursing duties as required, including training and mentoring nurses.
About Your Skills & Experience
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience).
Genuinely care about clients, patients and our team.
Experience in practice management or as a senior vet nurse with team management, strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent animal handling skills.
Extensive knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Good business insight and organisational skills.
