Due to increased growth, our Sydney Transport Team now have current needs for Transport Planning professionals with varying years of experience.
About the role:
As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of responsibilities, from; complex problem solving and innovation, information analysis, report writing and client engagement and liaison. Working closely with the team leaders and being supported by peers, you will be contributing to winning and delivering projects.
You will primarily work within the transport planning team both in Sydney and nationally. This will see you work with some of the foremost traffic and transport experts in Australia. Projects vary in size and type which presents a variety of projects and work with a large and passionate group of professionals. Your role will also involve working across disciplines with our transportation team including engineering, design and analytics.
Examples of current projects include:
- \tIntegrated Transport strategies
- \tTown centre transport masterplans
- \tActive transport action plans
- \tParking strategies
- \tTravel plans and travel demand management
- \tSchool transport plans and Rapid Transport Assessment
- \tPublic transport planning
To be successful for this role you'll need:
- \tTertiary qualifications relative to Transport and/or Urban Planning
- \tProven experience in transport planning
- \tAbility to engage effectively, be hands-on and driven to deliver, especially government projects
- \tAbility to describe complex transport issues in an easy to understand and presentable manner
- \tDesire to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- \tExperience in data extraction, evaluation and analysis
- \tGIS skills (ArcGIS)(desirable)
