The Role
Frontier Advisors are looking for an experienced Investment Operations Specialist. The team are growing due to expansion of client base and a broadening of Investment Services provided. The role would suit someone with experience working in Investment Operations with a specific focus on onboarding and investment implementation.
Position Objective
The role will play a critical role in supporting all aspects of Investment Operations at Frontier Advisors. This role is intended to add seniority and practical backup across core Investment Operations activities with a particular focus on client onboarding and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Client onboarding and implementation
* Lead and support client onboarding and transition activity by working with internal stakeholders as well as custodians, investment managers and service providers
* Coordinate operational due diligence with internal and external parties
Investment execution and operational coverage
* Own end to end delivery of defined Investment Operations activities
* Act as a senior point of execution and judgement
Collaboration and team development
* Support knowledge sharing and backup arrangements
* Partner with system specialists on automation and enablement
* Provide practical cover during periods of absence or increased workload
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
* Significant experience in investment or fund operations, ideally in superannuation, investment management, custody, or platform businesses
* Understanding of Investment Operations, Custody operations, Investment Platforms, and Institutional client servicing
* Strong judgement and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to take ownership for operational processes
* Adaptable mindset with excellent influencing skills
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including APRA and ASIC
