Key Job Responsibilities
1. Operate and monitor plant equipment accurately and consistently.
2. Complete checklists, maintenance schedules, and operational duties.
3. Write daily operational briefs for engineers.
4. Identify process faults using structured fault-finding techniques.
5. Handle chemicals and waste safely following protocols.
6. Collaborate with engineers and R&D to transfer processes from lab to production.
7. Assist with technical documentation and contribute to safety and improvement systems.
8. Manage chemical inventory and coordinate with contractors.
9. Assist with raw material and final product inventory sampling.
10. Uphold safety protocols, report hazards, and participate in WHS activities.
Required Skills and Experience
* A solution-driven mindset with the ability to adapt quickly.
* Team-oriented attitude with initiative and independence.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency with digital tools like MS Office.
* Relevant certificates, diplomas, or degrees (preferred).
* Experience in process operations, materials handling, or supply chain (preferred).
* Knowledge of chemical handling, gas cylinders, analytical equipment, and safety frameworks like HAZOP.
* Certifications such as First Aid, Fire Safety, Working at Heights, White Card, Forklift (preferred).
