About the Kitchen Assistant Role
This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant, working closely with food preparation, presentation, serving, and clean-up of meals. * Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
* Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors, and staff
* Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program

Requirements and Qualifications
* Organised, can-do attitude to work in a physically demanding team environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience as a Cook is highly desirable
* Flexibility to work across any day of the week
* Ability to cover leaves for chef
* Flexibility to work shifts of up to 8 hours
* Previous experience in Hotel Services (Kitchen) within an aged care environment
* Sound knowledge of Food Safety
