About the Role
We are currently seeking an Export Logistics Coordinator to join the Forrestfield operations team. This role is internally titled Contract Packing Coordinator and is a full‐time, permanent role suited to someone with foundational experience in logistics or transport administration who is looking to develop further in export and terminal operations.
The role supports the coordination of export packing schedules, documentation and container movements under the guidance of the Prep Yard Supervisor. Training on internal systems and processes is provided. The position is based within an operational depot environment and involves regular interaction with yard, rail and customer teams.
What You Will Do
* Coordinate export packing schedules using systems such as 1‐Stop, Container Chain and CATSYS (training provided).
* Maintain contract registers, vessel schedules and basic status reporting.
* Monitor container movements, pack windows and cut‐offs, escalating issues as required.
* Liaise with customers to obtain and check export documentation.
* Coordinate with yard, rail and third‐party stakeholders to support export timelines.
* Arrange container bookings and releases and follow standard processes.
* Prepare customer updates, invoicing and maintain accurate records.
What You Will Bring
Essential
* Experience in a logistics, transport or customer‐facing administration role.
* Good attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer systems.
* Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn new processes.
Desirable
* Exposure to freight, export or terminal operations.
* Experience using logistics systems, or similar scheduling platforms.
