Job Title: Secondary Learning Support Coordinator
This is a leadership role that oversees the strategic implementation of Learning Support programs in Secondary. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other executive staff to implement targeted intervention strategies and programs, as well as classroom support and other support for students with higher learning needs.
Job Description:
The Secondary Learning Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. They work closely with teachers and learning support assistants to provide individualized support and ensure that all students have access to quality education.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the IEP development, NCCD processes, disability adjustments and liaison with external providers. They will also be involved in the development and implementation of targeted intervention strategies and programs to support student learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications in Education or a related field
* Experience teaching and leading learning support in Secondary contexts
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, learning support assistants and other executive staff
