WE'RE HIRING: Mental Health Support Workers - Wollongong, NSW
Are you driven by purpose and passionate about empowering others? We're looking for experienced and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our team across multiple SIL homes in Wollongong. About The Role
This is a casual position with flexible shifts,. You'll be working in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, providing tailored support to participants with diverse needs.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking candidates with proven experience in:
* Complex and aggressive behaviours (highly desirable)
* Brain injury and schizophrenia support (highly desirable)
* Medication administration
* Accurate documentation (shift notes, incident reports)
* Time management and adaptability across varied environments
* Fluent English - both verbal and written (non-negotiable)
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting participants in daily living activities
* Promoting independence and community engagement
* Delivering care aligned with individual support plans
* Ensuring a safe, respectful, and empowering environment
* Collaborating with staff and team leaders to deliver exceptional care
* Must be able to commit to PM and Sleepover shifts on a rotating roster .

* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Police Check
* NDIS Orientation Modules
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
* Infection Control Training Certificate
* Current Driver's License & reliable vehicle
* Right to work in Australia
