Emergency Medicine Specialist
Our rural medicine initiative offers a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to experience a better work-life balance and sustainability in a Level 4 role delineation ED with 100 beds. The Goulburn Base Hospital has a newly opened educational and high-fidelity simulation facility, regularly used for teaching sessions.
The Emergency Department provides a fast-paced environment where you will lead high-quality, specialised and safe clinical care to patients. Key selection criteria include evidence of registration with AHPRA, recency of practice and knowledge, and effective clinical communication through technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
* As a Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you will provide leadership in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of medical education programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a FACEM, FACRRM or FRACGP specialist.
* Proven experience in leading high-quality patient care in an emergency department setting.
* Effective clinical communication skills, including the ability to use technology and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Ability to contribute to the development of medical education programs and engage in research and quality improvement initiatives.
