Overview
Chubb Fire & Security, an industry leader, is seeking Sprinkler Fitters to join our team servicing the Townsville and Mount Isa areas.
This position involves servicing Fire Protection Systems and Equipment to Chubb Fire & Security's agreed standard of quality and excellence and assist in growing our sales, whilst exceeding customer service expectations.
Responsibilities
* Inspect, test, survey and maintain customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
* Identify defects, non-conformances and recommendations to ensure effective service and repair of fire protection and safety systems equipment is optimised for our clients.
* Use handheld devices to ensure compliance on completion of work tasks, providing clarity and evidence of maintenance performed on fire protection systems.
* Maximise efficiencies via route planning, time management, stock management, and service delivery.
* Participate in stocktakes and be responsible for inventory management.
* Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment, vehicles, product, etc.
* Report work progress and performance by completing productivity / KPI reports, where required.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with Chubb Fire & Security.
* Attend all scheduled training programs.
* Participate in On Call Roster.
* Recommend improved business processes by actively engaging in quality systems programs and providing feedback.
* Maintain best in class customer service.
Required Attributes
* QBCC licence and PIC licence and any other relevant qualifications.
* Excellent customer-focused attitude.
* Good effective time management skills.
* Be a results-driven individual.
* WHS knowledge and application.
* Ability to work in a team environment and also be a self-starter.
* Up-to-date product and industry knowledge — Australian Standards, Sprinkler Fitter – Wet Systems Fire Protection Equipment.
* Current Driver's Licence is essential.
* Ability to work additional hours as required from time to time.
