The services available from Townsville Community Health Services include:
* Health assessment and referral.
* Discipline specific interventions: Social Work, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Podiatry and Exercise Physiology.
* Liaison with hospitals, General Practitioners and other services or agencies.
* Integrated models of care and shared client service options or programs. Allied Health clinicians work closely with the Community Nursing team and Older Persons Community Services.

* Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
Deliver high‐quality Physiotherapy services as part of a community‐based multidisciplinary allied health team supporting adults and older persons within the Townsville University Hospital catchment. In this role, you'll provide clinic, home, and residential aged‐care–based assessment and intervention, including individual and group programs focused on complex conditions, post‐acute care, rehabilitation, hospital avoidance, and reablement. You'll join a motivated team of clinicians who value collaboration, autonomy, and innovation in a supportive and friendly environment. This position also offers an enviable lifestyle in Townsville North Queensland, with its tropical climate, beautiful beaches, and vibrant community.
Requirements:
* Qualification in physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration with, or eligibility for current registration with APHRA Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
* This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
* Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate. Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
