Key Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service – act as the first point of contact for patients, in person and on the phone.
• Maintain confidentiality while managing patient records.
• Process payments, Medicare and third‐party claims, and reconciliations.
• Manage patient appointment types effectively.
• Perform general administration and daily office duties.
• Perform duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified, friendly, confident, and courteous manner.
• High work ethic and flexibility with work hours.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi‐task, and prioritise.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and problem‐solving skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse team and independently.
• High level attention to detail.
• Previous medical receptionist experience would be an advantage; not essential.
• Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information.
