There have been several policy settings established that also require the support of financing solutions, so indigenous businesses have access to capital to bridge financing that will ultimately migrate to the commercial banks in time.
Opportunity: Using finance to specifically help indigenous businesses to start, grow and create future employment opportunities. This is rare opportunity to work in finance AND to contribute to the advancement of Indigenous people.
Role: Will cover the Western region of Australia, Ideally based from Perth or Darwin.
The role is part of the company's cashflow solutions business unit, who provide Equipment Finance, Bank guarantees, Debtor finance and other cashflow finance solutions.
You will be networking with indigenous business leaders to build your reputation as the source of growth capital that can be accessed by new businesses, Growing businesses or even mature businesses who need the capital to grow.
The role has less formal structure than the micro KPI's of a bank, but requires enthusiastic investment to get the word out with a community who can be dis-trusting of finance companies and banks. You need to build trust and reality check some of the 'opportunities' which are presenting themselves.
Requirements:We will be seeking candidates for this role who:
* Can show cultural sensitivities and justify an interest in assisting indigenous businesses
* Past sales experience in Equipment Finance, Leasing and/or Debtor finance. (i.e. Cashflow finance solutions)
* Ability to represent a well reasoned credit proposal, while also bringing the customer on the financing journey, to help them understand
* Self motivated and driven to deliver real value
