Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The role of a maintenance technician involves providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of plant and equipment. This includes routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements as needed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Know and adhere to relevant procedures, statutory requirements, and codes.
2. Continually reassess risks associated with regional operation and maintenance processes and take corrective action.
3. Role model the use of safety systems, such as alteration authorities, permits to work, and user instruction records.
4. Coordinate and complete audits.
5. Ensure adherence to maintenance systems through influencing and motivating site personnel.
6. Mentor staff and local service contractors in supporting operations.
Requirements
* Tertiary or technical qualification - up to 2 years experience post qualification.
* Without formal qualifications - up to 10 years of administrative experience or allocation of work to operators.
* Technical and/or functional business system applications required for tasks, such as SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualization tools, engineering software, etc.
