Job Title: Conference & Events Coordinator
Job Description:
* We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient organization and coordination of onsite conferences and events.
* This integral role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the MICE industry.
* The Coordinator will work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
* Responsibilities include meeting client needs, preparing proposals, invoicing, and ensuring timely execution of all planned events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Passion and pride in creating EPIC experiences
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 200+ room Hotel or Resort environment
* A high level of attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
* Excellent time management and communication skills (written and oral)
* A good working knowledge of the MICE industry on the Gold Coast
* Naturally friendly approach that easily builds rapport with clients, guests, and colleagues
* Confidence to follow up and ensure client expectations have been achieved from event inception to delivery
* A high standard of personal presentation and communication
