The Role

- This position sits within the Pro-Performance and Major Venues team. You will identify and develop opportunities with, and influence end customers across VIC, TAS, WA and SA.
- The team includes BDMs who identify, influence and drive new opportunities and present the Jands go-to-market strategy. Account Managers then manage channel relationships and project delivery via partners.
- Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will work with stakeholders at all levels in the Pro-Performance and Major Venues vertical to increase sales opportunities and maximise revenue and market share from an early stage.
- This role is a proactive sales position requiring cold outreach to initiate engagement and relationships.
- You will network with industry colleagues and use insights to stay ahead of market opportunities and build an opportunity pipeline.
- You will identify and analyse trends in Pro-Performance and Major Venues markets, making recommendations on new solutions, products and distribution channels.
- You will coordinate value-add services like design, proof-of-concept demonstrations and after-sales support.
- You will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop proposals, bids, tenders and solution designs that reflect client needs and objectives.
- You will proactively seek training to keep your technical knowledge up to date.

About You

- A strong B2B sales background.
- A proven track record of initiating and growing sales revenue by identifying and securing new opportunities.
- Relevant experience in AV or a related technical product range.
- Ideally experience with AV and technology solutions relevant to Major Venues and Pro-Performance projects.
- Confidence and experience in cold sales outreach to new prospective customers.
- Intangible qualities: clear communicator, team player and able to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility to travel interstate occasionally and to be face to face with customers locally on a regular basis.
- Highly motivated and driven individuals will suit this opportunity.
