Your Role as a Chef – Dining Services In this position you will provide a high quality and efficient service and will be required to assist with the production of high-quality meals which meet the requirements of the residents and visitors. Key responsibilities include: Preparing of large quantities of high-quality food that meets the resident’s nutritional needs and meal preferences. Maintaining hygiene and presentation. Menu and Service planning. Preparing temperature-controlled food. Undertaking of storage and stock rotation of food. Contributing to the maintenance of safe working conditions for all conditions which includes reporting any hazards or risks. Experience in food preparation and cooking in a large-scale commercial environment, preferably in an aged care environment. Knowledge and experience in the maintenance of hygienic equipment and work areas Strong time management and organisational skills.
