We're on the hunt for a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join and lead the dynamic kitchen team at Terrigal Beach House—one of the busiest and most popular coastal venues on the Central Coast.

As Sous Chef, you'll report directly to the Head Chef and play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
You'll be responsible for supporting and guiding the team, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery.
You'll lead by example—upholding food safety, driving consistency across menus, and fostering a positive, motivated kitchen culture.

What You'll Do
Lead and support the kitchen team in daily operations
Prepare, cook, and present food to a high standard
Maintain pace and focus in a high-volume environment
Ensure consistency, quality, and food safety at all times
Train and mentor junior team members
Collaborate closely with the Head Chef on menus, specials, and service delivery
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and engaged team culture
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a busy venue
Strong leadership and communication skills
A passion for high-quality, consistent food and service
The ability to perform under pressure and lead by example
Availability to work weekends, nights, and public holidays
A can-do attitude, teamwork, and reliability
