Key Responsibilities
* Drive margin improvement through strategic performance management and occupancy growth initiatives.
* Establish strong relationships with partner organisations to influence business outcomes and develop collaborative partnerships.
* Implement revenue optimisation strategies, including market-driven pricing and income diversification.
* Oversee refurbishment, reconfiguration, and facilities management projects to enhance property value and resident experience.
* Support business development and long-term investment initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
* Monitor service providers and ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
* Enhance data visibility and reporting to inform commercial decisions and drive business improvement.
* Represent the business externally through stakeholder engagement and market presence, promoting our brand and values.
Requirements
A seasoned leader with expertise in property or residential asset management, skilled at balancing operational delivery with stakeholder engagement and growth initiatives.
* Proven leadership in operational real estate, preferably in PBSA, purpose-built residential, or education-linked infrastructure.
* Experience in turnaround, performance improvement, and complex stakeholder management, with a track record of delivering results.
* Commercial acumen with revenue growth and cost management experience; familiarity with private equity or fund-owned platforms preferred.
* Strong strategic mindset, execution capability, and financial literacy, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement.
* Collaborative leader with excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills, able to build and lead high-performing teams.
* Experience in regional Australia/Tasmania advantageous, but not essential.
