Overview
Deliver in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently & remain within their own homes.
Support Worker positions available for both new entrants and experienced applicants.
Permanent part‐time contracts available with hourly rates from $28.01 to $30.60 p/h + 11% super.
Travel allowance of $0.92 per kilometre plus paid travel time between clients.
Locations: Kingscliff NSW and surrounding suburbs including Chindarra, Tweed Coast, Pottsville, Hastings Point, Bogangar, Duranbah, Casuarina, Cudgen, Cudgera Creek & Fingal Head.
Key Requirements
* Current Australian driver's license and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
* Fully vaccinated with a minimum of two doses for Covid‐19
* Flexibility to work rosters between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday
* Minimum 12 months experience and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support – ideal but not essential
Responsibilities / Recent Role
* Help at home: cleaning, laundry & meal preparation
* Safety practices: safe manual handling & driver awareness
* Client awareness: social interaction, client observations & ongoing training & support
* Client support: assisted dressing or supervising daily hygiene
* Social & wellbeing: accompany clients to appointments & outings
* Transport: transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
Experienced Applicant Tasks Only
We welcome applicants that have experience and/or a qualification as a disability support worker, assistant in nursing (AIN), community services worker or bachelor of nursing student.
