Position: Enrolment and Attendance Officer
Contract: Permanent term time position (45 weeks per year, term time plus weeks as neg)
Start date: ASAP
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm, 38 hours per week
Classification: SO Level 4 - 5, depending on qualifications and experience.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated school officer to oversee enrolments, attendance, and reception support. This essential position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the school and requires building strong relationships with families. The responsibilities include managing student information, providing administrative support, and ensuring compliance with the school's Privacy Policy. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and may require occasional work outside normal school hours during peak times. About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a school or business environment, ideally within the independent education sector.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
* High attention to detail and competency in CRM/database management.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and willing to learn school systems.
* A commitment to the mission and values of Brisbane Montessori School.
To be successful, you will have:
* A highly developed communication, problem-solving and organisational skills with the proven ability to undertake several concurrent tasks.
* The ability to prioritise, organise, and complete work within established deadlines and maintain a consistent level of professionalism.
* A sound knowledge of administrative systems and procedures and proficiency.
* The ability to work independently, being proactive in the execution of duties while also working as part of a team towards specific outcomes and goals.
* A current Childcare First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
* A current Blue Card or undertake employment screening for child-related employment and maintain a positive Blue Card or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
