About this Role In this role, you will be responsible for: Undertaking maintenance on Latrobe City Council's building assets as required by the Building Maintenance Team Leader. - Managing the delivery of select range of minor capital works projects. - Taking a hands on approach to building projects. - Ensuring work performed is of a high quality and meets the required service levels and standards set by Council. About you: We are seeking a self-motivated individual with highly developed communication skills. You will have experience and developed skills in carpentry and a proven ability to work effectively in a team setting with a diverse workload. You'll need: - A trade qualification in Carpentry. - Demonstrated experience performing carpentry tasks for a large or complex organisation. - Licences for the role, including White/Red Card, Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights and Forklift Licences. - A high level of knowledge in respect to current practices and industry standards relating to carpentry and OH&S; requirements. - Skills to work in a team environment and manage a diverse workload. - Computer skills to complete progress reports and required task administration. - Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
