Perioperative Nursing Role
The key objective of this position is to deliver exceptional patient care in a perioperative setting.
Applicants should possess recent experience in a perioperative role, relevant post-registration qualifications, and the ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Conduct thorough and accurate nursing assessments of patients.
* Continuously monitor patients' conditions and notify medical staff of any changes as necessary.
* Identify and implement discharge-planning requirements.
* Develop appropriate care plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
* Prioritize and execute planned care to achieve expected outcomes.
* Recent experience in a perioperative role.
* Relevant post-registration qualification or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continually improving patient care.
* Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Authorized Registered Nurse practicing under Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
* Ability to work proficiently in high-demand situations and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
