Responsibilities Lead an ICT enabled project delivering reform initiatives including transitioning applications between Government Agencies Effectively engaging with various teams and stakeholders to identify, report and manage risks and issues, dependencies, forecasts and project reporting. Identifying and managing changes to projects in accordance with established processes and standards, and manage information flows across projects. Lead, motivate and manage team members, setting behavioural expectations and activities Lead a team of staff from a variety of technical backgrounds and an understanding of legacy, contemporary and emerging technologies and technical architectures Build and maintain effective working relationships with technical professionals, project team members and stakeholders which may include program/project directors, senior executive Inform project board members to support decisions that focus on addressing risks to delivery Accountability for the development and delivery of project plans and schedules, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established project management methodology Support knowledge transfer to core team and staff to build internal capability, through the development of structures and practices to support About You Minimum 3 years’ experience as a project manager Highly developed analytical, problem solving and high level strong oral and written communication and escalation skills Excellent planning and high-level people and providers management skills to enable delivery of outcomes, including developing, producing and maintaining project documentation Working knowledge and experience of infrastructure and/or applications and working with an outsourced provider, internal departmental staff and other government agencies Experience and high-level confidence in using standard Microsoft project tools and project management artefacts Experience working within a DevOps model and with contemporary DevOps tools About Araza: Our organisation works with Australia’s largest enterprise and government clients providing project and program teams and resources to ensure success.
