Job Description

* Salary will be dependent on experience - Level 8 - 13 Trades as per the Qantas Airways Limited (AWU AMWU CEPU) Enterprise Agreement 11
Qantas Engineering keeps us at the forefront of aviation, caring and maintaining both the Qantas fleet, as well as aircraft for our customers across the Asia-Pacific region. Working with state-of-the-art equipment and resources, our shared commitment to professional excellence continues to keep our customers safe.
As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers' and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.
You'll have –
* Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) OR EASA qualification
* Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) trade experience preferrably in a Line Maintenance environment
* Experience in fuel entry (desirable)
* Completed all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard
* Demonstrated ability to work safety and adhering to all safety and compliance procedures
* Australian Drivers licence
