We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period. Alkimos Beach Primary School (PS), located approximately 45km from Perth, opened in 2017 catering for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. We are a school Public Private Partnership school with strong values and are committed to providing excellent service. The Role As the School Officer, you would be the first point of contact at Alkimos Beach PS and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our front office. We are seeking a highly efficient and self-motivated individual who can work independently while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and professional manner. Suitable applicants will ideally display strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. In this role, you should undertake a variety of administrative and financial duties. These include greeting visitors, responding to enquiries, supporting student enrolment processes, and maintaining accurate records, particularly those related to student health and well-being. You would assist with financial processes such as EFTPOS and credit card payments, invoicing, cash handling, and reconciliations. You will ideally provide support with the administration of the school’s marketing, financial, and physical resources, while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the security of sensitive information. You would also assist the school leadership team to manage school information, student records and provide support for school events. We are looking for applicants who ideally possess strong Information and Communications Technology (ICT) skills, with experience in RM Billing, HRMIS, Integris, and Compass being highly regarded. Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets, and word processing. Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
