This is an amazing opportunity to join National Fostering Group as a Supervising Social Worker with Pathway Care.
We are a leading independent fostering agency, part of National Fostering Group, serving the South West – from Gloucester to Cornwall, including the centre of Bristol, Weston, Somerset, Exeter, Plymouth and the M5 corridor.
We currently work with over 80 foster carers for more than 100 children and 12 parent and child placements.

We also offer a 4-day working week – this means 80% of the hours for 100% pay, following a successful 6-month probationary period and as a performance-based benefit.
Responsibilities
Help vulnerable children and young people find a foster home that can transform their future.
Supervise and advise foster carers, ensuring both carers and children receive the support they need to thrive.
Visit homes, keep in touch with both carers and young people and act as an essential point of contact.
Work as a safeguarding champion with everyone's best interests at heart.
Collaborate with specialist clinical teams to identify and provide the right support, from occupational therapy to art therapy and clinicians with specialism in trauma and attachment theory.
Maintain safety, wellbeing and quality standards for all children and young people within the agency.
Qualifications & Experience
BA or MA degree in social work.
Registered with the appropriate professional body.
Full driving licence.
Previous social work experience, especially with young people who have a history of trauma and enhanced needs.
Confidence, innovation and an open-minded approach to supporting carers and children.
