About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, the Finance Manager will oversee and refine V-DAQ's end-to-end financial operations while playing an instrumental role in scaling the business across all departments, including customer growth and success, product engineering, and manufacturing. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of taking this role further and growing with V-DAQ to meet its expanding needs and ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Bookkeeping and reconciliation
* Accounts Payable
* Procurement and supplier/vendor management
* Accounts Receivable
* Customer contracts and service management
* Dept recovery
* Tax compliance (BAS, PAYG, etc.) and lodgements
* End of Financial Year (EOFY) procedures
* Payroll and Superannuation management
* Internal financial forecasting and reporting
* Grants and government incentives
About You
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or CA preferred)
* Minimum 6 years' experience across accounting, internal finance, or finance management roles
Technical Skills:
* Highly proficient with accounting/ERP systems, excel, and digital tools
* Able to adapt quickly to new technology and software
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and compliance (BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, etc.)
Soft Skills:
* Strong leadership and communication abilities
* Strategic thinker with an aptitude for continuous improvement
* Ability to work independently and part of a team
* Resourceful, self-driven, and passionate about your work
