Experienced hair dresser for Ribbon Hair Salon Darwin Ribbon Hair Salon Darwin is a well-established company located in Darwin. We specialize in Asian hair, permanent wave (most important), straighten, Balayage, Blondes and Precision cutting.
We are seeking an energetic and motivated hair designer to join our dynamic team at our busy salon. You should have a genuine passion for hairdressing, be friendly and honest, and enjoy dealing with people. You should be hardworking with a positive, mature mindset and the goal of a long-term career in the hairdressing industry.
Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000

The Role
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Performing hair styling for customers using various hairdressing tools and techniques
* Providing recommendations and professional advice on hair care and beauty products
* Providing services such as conditioning, bleaching, permanent waving, and straightening
The position requires
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.
* Highly skilled in balayage, foilayage, colour correction, foiling
* Permanent wave (cold wave and digital perm) and straightening (most important)
* Highly skilled in cutting and hair styling
* Great customer service
* Well presented
* Good communication, able to take phone calls and maintain appointment database
* Good punctuality and ability to work as a team
* Confident in Blonding and Balayages
* Extension application a plus but not necessary
* Able to work unsupervised
